                                      GARAGE SALE RULES

                                      CITY OF FORT WORTH

Each household is limited to two garage sales per year

A permit from the city is required for all garage sales.

          It must be in your possession 72 hours prior to the sale

          Permits can be obtained free of charge from the City

The sale of new items obtained just for resale is prohibited.

Items should be displayed only on the patio or in garage areas, not strewn about your property

Only one sign----on your property is allowed.  All others are violations of city code

DON'T WIPE OUT YOUR GARAGE SALE PROCEEDS BY RECEIVING A CODE VIOLATION AND A SUBSEQUENT FINE.
