Ridglea Hills Elementary School
Chris Holbert, President, called the meeting to order. A motion was put forth to approve January’s meeting minutes and was seconded. Meeting minutes are always posted on the website following the meeting. Minutes were accepted.
Tabitha Butler is the new City of Fort Worth Community Engagement Liaison. She is new to the role and will give updates and city related info pertinent to Ridglea Hills.
Amy Albrecht with the FW Library, Ridglea Branch, spoke regarding their literacy program. Visit the branch for more info.
Councilman Zimmerman addressed the roads and said that paving should happen as soon as the weather permits. Plans are in the works for the abandoned Kroger to become a new European Grocery Chain called Lidl.
Officer Pennington, RH NPO, said that there is no news and took a few questions from the audience.

He said that the Lidl store is having to redesign the building per the Camp Bowie District preferences and hopes that an agreement is reached.
Quick Trip has backed out of their agreement with Ridglea Presbyterian Church and will not be building a store in that location. Race Trac is going in to the old gas station spot in the Kroger parking lot. The old Fantasy Import building is becoming a Bridal Shop.

Neighborhood Garage Sale: Saturday May 6th. There is no need to let us know if you are participating as there will not be a map or list of addresses this year. RHNA will advertise the sale, however, each homeowner is responsible for hosting their own sale and obtaining a free permit from the City of Fort Worth’s website.
First Annual Independence Parade: WHEN:Saturday July 1st Start Time:10am, lasting approximately 1hr, entries need to plan on meeting at 9am Route: the route will follow Clayton Rd around Ridglea Hills and is approximately 3 miles Start Location – ClaytonRd East/Camp Bowie – Kroger Parking Lot. Finish Location – Floyd & Clayton – empty lot
